The Britech Foundation	Britech is the Britain-Israel Technology Foundation, a government-backed bilateral organisation providing active support for collaborative R&D ventures between British and Israeli companies.
The Centre for Integrated Photonics	CIP is a contract R&D company with extensive experience in integration technologies for microsystems and nanotechnologies, with a key competence in photonic integration. We have been established as an open access laboratory to offer services to both industry and academia"
National Microelectronics Institute	National Organisation promoting and actively improving collaboration within the UK semiconductor industry.
The International Alliance of Nanotechnology Regions (IAN Regions)	The International Alliance of Nanotechnology Regions (IANRegions) is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to creating and sustaining a global network of nanotechnology hubs. IANRegions seeks to accelerate the pace of innovation and growth of the nanoelectronics (semiconductor) and nanosystems (MEMS) industries by facilitating trade and research partnerships between regional nanotechnology hubs.
Institute of System Level Integration	The Institute for System Level Integration provides postgraduate education, professional training and research in system level integration and system-on-chip technologies. Its aim is to support the development of electronics systems design worldwide and to encourage the exploration of new technologies through research.
The Institute of Electrical Engineers	Founded in 1871, the IEE is the largest professional engineering society in Europe and has a worldwide membership of just under 130,000. These men and women, who have joined together to promote the advancement of electrical, electronic and manufacturing science and engineering, range from students to the most distinguished and highly qualified members of the profession.The IEE is a Registered Charity No. 211014.
Scottish Semiconductor Suppliers Forum	The Scottish Semiconductor Supplier Forum is a trade organisation. Its members provide the infrastructure and support for companies who manufacture microchips and other high tech devices.
Future Horizons	Future Horizons is recognised as the global semiconductor industry analysts. Its areas of activity are market research reports; custom consulting assignments; annual industry forums and seminars, market and technology appraisals, due diligence; IC and system design evaluation; and industry training seminars. Future Horizons has more than 100-man years experience in the semiconductor and related industries, starting with the first commercial IC in 1962. In addition, its Moscow-based, wholly owned subsidiary, East-West Electronics, offers direct access to the former USSR electronics industry and markets. Welsh Electronics Forum	The Welsh Electronics Forum is the authoritative voice of the technology industry in Wales. It is a forum for the leaders of the technology industry enabling them to speak with a single, unified voice. Promoting worldwide confidence in Welsh technology and software, the Welsh Electronics Forum reflects the progressive and vibrant nature of Wales' most exciting industry, generating confidence in its resilience, innovativeness and competitiveness.
ARCSIS	ARCSIS is the trade association for the microelectronics and semiconductor activities in the Provence-Alps-Riviera (PACA) region, in France. It participates in assuring sustainability, full economic development and enhanced competitiveness of the regional microelectronics and communicating objects industry. Its 56 members include industries as well as research centres and universities.ARCSIS also manages a major collaborative research and development program – CIM PACA (PACA Integrated Microelectronics Centre). CIM PACA groups together the microelectronics community around three interconnected platforms: Design, Characterization and Micro-PackS. Nanotechnology KTN	The Nanotechnology KTN was established by the Technology Strategy Board (TSB) as a successor to the MNT Network. The Nanotechnology KTN facilitates the transfer of knowledge and experience between industry and research, offering companies dealing in small-scale technology access to information on new processes, patents and funding as well as keeping up-to-date with industry regulation. The four broad areas that the KTN focuses on are:            Promoting and facilitating knowledge exchange            Supporting the growth of UK capabilities            Raising awareness of Nanotechnology            Providing thought leadership and input to UK policy and strategy These four offerings are targeted at growing and strengthening the micro and nanotechnologies (MNT) community.
UKAEA	The UK Electronic Alliance (UKEA) was formed in response to the Electronics Innovation and Growth Team (EIGT) Report, which was published by the DTI in 2005. The EIGT Report stated ‘that the fragmented, diverse nature of the (electronics) industry, and its difficulty representing itself to Government and vice versa, led to delays in addressing some of the key issues which impact on its performance’.
